These materials can help young learners in grades K-12 to better understand the Cathedral. Please click on the highlighted titles to download each document for use in the classroom. Grades K-2Who is Christ the Light? - Familiarizes students with the idea of God's creation of the world and of light for the world. Grades 3-5What is a Cathedral? - Familiarizes students with the concept of a cathedral. Who is Christ the Light? - Familiarizes students with the idea of Christ as a light for our lives. Shortly after the opening of the Cathedral, grammar school children throughout the Diocese created paper fish, (approximately 40,000) as an activity to learn about the vesica piscis, the shape of the Cathedral.
